Hi! I just wanted to leave a note, thanking you for this blog and for the Sebec Lake webcam. I've been coming to Sebec's sister lake, Schoodic, since I was a little girl, and it does my spirits good to see what's happening over the long months when I'm far away. In fact, every day, the wallpaper on my computer at the school where I teach English gets reset to the latest picture from Sebec--the kids always comment on it. (It's especially fun when there's something like a sailboat, an ice-fishing hut, or a snowmobile in the field of view.)
Thanks again for something that lifts my spirits in a small way almost every day. :)

Cat, I do the same thing with the Web cam image! It reminds me of the lake when I'm far away and is like a window I can open to see what's outside.
